Youth of the Month & Youth of the Year Awards

The Youth of the Month and Youth of the Year Awards are among the most celebrated programs of Exchange Clubs across the United States. The Duneland Exchange Club is proud to participate in this tradition by recognizing outstanding high school seniors in the Duneland area who demonstrate:

• Exceptional academic achievement

• A strong commitment to community service

• Leadership in school and beyond

• Dedication, integrity, and hard work

 

Each month during the school year, the club honors a senior as Youth of the Month. At the end of the academic year, one student is selected as the Youth of the Year from among the monthly recipients. Final selection is based on overall excellence and a compelling, original essay written in response to a theme provided by the National Exchange Club.

The Duneland Exchange Club Youth of the Year goes on to represent our community at the Indiana District Competition—with the chance to advance to the National Youth of the Year Awards, one of the most prestigious honors in the Exchange Club network.
